What exactly does Make America Great Again mean?
 
@Thales750, That's actually a legit question even though sometimes we are adversarial.

MAGA - Make America Great Again - expresses the sentiment that the quality of life in the USA has somehow diminished after the Obama years and Biden years. Trump's first term was marred by a pandemic, continual attempts at impeachment, and a Democratic Congress, so he was unable to achieve what he wanted to achieve. Though it is putting words in his mouth, I infer MAGA to mean to improve the quality of government, which does not necessarily mean "add services." It could simply refocus priorities.

We (the US) are now trillions of dollars in debt. The Republicans won the 2024 election. One of the campaign pledges being restoring fiscal responsibility. Democrats have periodically acknowledged that concern. Given that, it is surprising that instead of embracing the objective of restoring fiscal responsibility, the Democrats are obstructing Republican MAGA efforts. Democrats don't want MAGA to succeed.

That's almost like asking what is a Woman? It should be pretty obvious as long as you don't view progressive agenda's as a winning thing for your nation. Trying to parse it out from a liberal mindset is impossible because they view America has having advanced to a more chaotic place where a woman is a man and man is a woman and teachers must provide their preferred pronouns or be demoted or even fired. What we're saying in a simple phrase is really the opposite of the following:
  1. Taking free speech away from individuals is not an advancement for any country. We used to have free speech and it was highly valued by everyone.
  2. Having open borders is not good for any country. We never had a mass illegal migration problem decades ago and only recently has this horrible crime against the nation actually been supported by progressive groups of citizens that lean towards socialism. Amazingly, the last administration thought it wise to actually fly them into the country on the taxpayers dime. Are you kidding me!
  3. NGO's are also a source for much corruption as Billionaire's like George Soros can take advantage of them and legally pay protestors to cause chaos and riots in the streets. When asked what they are protesting about, many don't know, but they do know they have been paid to do so. This is not and advancement of society. It's corruption at a very sneaky powerful level that didn't exist decades ago, but now does.
  4. Having an immensely large governmental bureaucracy driving everything we do and doing it frivolously wasting our tax payer funds is criminal. Of course there are good parts to the bureaucracy too, but it is totally out of hand and not one politician in recent history has done anything about it until you know who.
  5. Representatives are serving themselves and not the people and getting rich off the corrupt system as it stands. It wasn't always like this and didn't happen over one presidents term in office. It happened over many decades of FWA of the tax payers funds.
  6. Legal warfare against political opponents by the Deep State Bureaucracy especially the one's in powerful unelected positions is now the lefts go to weapon of choice.
  7. Redefining the meaning of words purposely to confuse peoples perceptions of good peoples written or said words (especially things from the past when the current meaning didn't exist yet). This one is particularly annoying. Erasing history is not a good thing for any nation.

I'm sure I left out a bunch more, you get the idea. Now reverse all of the above or fix the root causes, and that's Making America Great Again. But that should have been obvious. It was a perfect campaign slogan as well. So what did the left do, They attempted to make it derogatory and shameful or say it's all a cult. Thank God that didn't work.

What I find most amusing is that pretty much all that MAGA stands for, the left also said they stood for until Trump came on the scene. Just listen to the montages put together by conservative media with the Democrats supporting EXACTLY what Trump supports.

You'd think by now that Trump would have figured out that if he says he is for something, the "opposition" immediately starts changing the meaning of words and calling Trump names for his "evil" ideas. Maybe Trump should say he is for human trafficking and money laundering by politicians and selling influence and open borders;) Then we could watch the talking heads sit there twitching like a computer with a conundrum.

The Democrats under the Biden administration abandoned democracy and core values. Seems she has forgotten the eight years of lawfare against Republicans. Biden opened the border to an invasion of illegal immigrants claiming that he couldn't do anything (yet Biden proudly proclaimed that he could ignore the courts when it came to student loans). Trump did, the solution was simply a new president. When it came to Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, Slokin was conveniently (as on purpose) absent. So where is her concern for protecting women?

Means to me get rid of the liberal mumbo jumbo that has hamstrung the citizenry and their business and living efforts by too much regulation, get society stronger - meaning NOT dependent on the government (the opposite of what liberals thing Strong people means, they want to cut more checks for more services), a country of working, successful people with minimal government and real freedom, but moral/decent freedom i.e. the kind that engenders success, not failure, sadness or mental disorders.
 
I think the manager of the Capitol building should close all private bathrooms in the members' offices and force the women to use public restrooms frequented by men. They are willing to force your daughters into changing in front of boys, it's the least we can do to show them how your daughters feel. And, it doesn't even come close because using a restroom with stalls is pretty private compared to communal shower rooms.

When everyone on the outside takes the easy path of doing simple searches using google or whatever search engine you prefer, you're not going to get all of the needed information from those top hits that appear. Because this is political, there is a whole lot more work you have to do to get the truth about what is really going on. That's unfortunate, but it is foolish to believe everything you get hits on about political type searches is accurate. I'd say, it's 75% inaccurate, the parts they want you to hear are 95% negative in nature. So by pure omission of the good things Trump does, your getting massively skewed views, articles, video's, and sound bytes on him. If the person writing or editing the piece hates trump, guess what? It's going to be heavily biased into the negative zone. The amount of money spent to smear the guys image is astronomical.

The first hits on this question I get in my browser are Wikipedia and Britannica. Guess what, those sites are Trump Hating ultra left sites that will stop and nothing to smear his every move. Do not fall for it.

Finally, if you were to actually talk with every single Trump supporter directly and ask them what MAGA is to them, I guarantee it will not match what the left leaning sites are telling you. They are so far off, it isn't funny any more.

Anyone can put the time in to train AI and skew the results on political info. Politics is the stuff for the big boys with lots of money. AI is only as good as the information you feed into it and internet is littered with garbage info on political information.
