I've just switched from Access 97 to 2000 ...

In my query "qryBlah" it comes back and requests a parameter, which I expect ... I put in the parameter and ...

and then instead of completing the query... access comes back to me and asks for the same parameter again....

What is going on? It appears to be related to the fact that I've made access sort the query.... and it would only appear to be this db --- thank somebody up there !

Can anybody help...

or is this one of the "New" code twists that i don't see any use for...

Try deleting the query and importing it again from one of the db's that work.

Good Plan I'll try that !!

Thanks

---->> In fact this plan worked extremely well but I don't understand what is going on with this "new and improved" version of access ----> brings to mind some kind of corruption of data maybe ??

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

I think that this type of problem doesn't allow me to be rational and therefore I'll do anything --->> even irrational

1) I (should have) learned to just "sleep on it" for 12 hrs and tackle the problem again --- once I've returned my full faculties

2) Ask someone in this forum ...

3) Trust the answer you get.

4) Have a "plan B"... even if its a simple as making a backup

5) Thank the person ... did I say "THANK YOU VERY MUCH " already
