My name is Abbas Mansoori from Bahrain, retired IT professional with 23 years of experience in IT. I started my career with a leading telecom company called Batelco as Analyst Programmer and made my way up to be IS Manager.
Holder of BS In math and Post Graduate Degree in MS MIT from Sunderland University.
I have experience in development and system supports, PM, Oracle 10 G certification, MS MCP, Cobol CICS developer, VOIP, NW, Dot Net, Access 2010, DB Admin Oracle, SQL, and MySQL and little in PHP.
Currently, I am working on two projects using access 2010, a Membership Application and a Vehicle Tracking system. The plan is to develop these as Desk Top Apps and then convert them to Web.
I love development and that is why I am taking up these two projects and see how far I can get with them.
I am very happy to join a forum like this and I am sure I will learn more and I hope to be a valuable resource to contribute to the forum.
