I am very new to this site. Came across it during google searches and found it to be very very helpful. I am doing a 20% assignment and cant seem to get it. Please help me. I would really appreicate it.
assignment is creating reports and queries in MS access 2007. Assignment is below
I have a small table for a hotel with 30 rooms.....3 room types. Anyone above 5 number of guests per room will have to pay $ 20.00. and anyone staying over 7 days gets a 10 percent discount.
I have to find out:1. The average length of stay per room type
2. The average # of visitors per room type
3. The base income per room length of visit x daily rate) during a specified period of time (a single month)
I have the following fields:
First Name
Last Name
Room Name
Room Type
Arrival Date
Departure Date
# Guests
Daily Rate
I have been able to do questions a and b however i dunt know the parameters for question c. I know i have to use the iif function however i dont know how to create it .
how do i create a parameter for 10 % and for $ 20.00 . Please HELP !
