Hi Guys

Work have just issued me with a new laptop, a very nice and speedy Dell. But, I just got it yesterday and will be swapping data from my old laptop today.
I am running Access 2K as I support these applications for the Branch.

The issue is while checking to ensure that A2K was installed correctly I find that the new laptop has not BREAK button.

This isn't a problem while the laptop is in it's docking station but will be a pain as I do a lot of work "on the couch".

Is there an alternative to Ctrl+Break for working in VBA.

Cheers

are you sure you dont have a break key as an alternative on one of the F Keys, or letter keys.

maybe the F12 (is it pause?)

on my HP - the pause key is also the break key, although there is a separate F12
