Numbering records in a report

Hi...
I'm still new in Access. I hope my question will be answered. I need to know how to insert numbering in a report. For example, if there are 10 records in the report, there should be a number of 1-10 like below:

2
3
4
.
.
.
10

Can this be done? Please help.

There is a function or property that will do this, I just don't recall what it is.

Place a text box in the report give its control source property as =1, and its running sum property to over group. This will add a serial No field to your report.
