I have an Access report that I am sending to Excel using the "Office Links" button in the Print Preview screen, but I have recently noticed a small problem. For some reason, when using this method to transfer the info to Excel, only 127 characters per field(including spaces) show up in Excel.
At first I thought it was a problem with Excel and that perhaps the cells couldn't hold more than 127 chars, so I checked Excel. I found that it can indeed hold more than 127 chars per cell.
Interestingly enough, if I export the data to Word using the same method, I don't lose any of it. Problem is that I really need the data in Excel and not in Word.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be happening and/or what can be done to allow all of the data to transfer to Excel? Thanks in advance for your help!
