Why do I think that the DOJ won't be raiding the University of Pennsylvania to get Biden's Vice Presidential documents away from the Chinese he sold them to? Or any of his mansions either?

Why do I think that no Democrat cares? Biden and Clinton can do whatever they want. The evil orange man would be sent to death row if he threw a cigarette butt on the ground (not that he even smokes).

They would send Trump to death row if Clinton, Obama or Biden threw a cigarette button on the ground.

Good point. He is guilty in spades of whatever bad stuff they might do.

I see that a special council will investigate Biden's classified documents discovery. Will they be 17 angry Republican's on the team, just like there were 17 angry Trump hating Democrats in the Russia Collusion Mueller investigation?

Will they [sic] be 17 angry Republican's on the team, ...
Unfortunately, Republicans do not have the killer instinct of Democrats. Democrats savagely go for the jugular, the ends justify the means. Republican are gutless when it comes to political intrigue. US Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself (stepped aside) to let Rod Rosenstein appoint Mueller as a Special Counsel to implement his anti-Trump witch-hunt. The Mueller Witch-Hunt, in the end, failed to identify a "crime", which implies that weak/cowardly Republicans let the Democrats push a destructive anti-Trump persecution without justification (a valid predicate). For over two years this caused extensive damage to the Republican agenda. As a very recent example of Republican gutlessness, I will toss in, McConnell selling out the Republican (fiscal) agenda by supporting the passage of the Democrat sponsored $1.7 Trillion Omnibus Bill this past December.

In a way, I am surprised; given how extremely political the Biden administration is, that James Comey wasn't appointed. After all, after citing all of H. Clinton's crimes, Comey (with a straight face) proclaimed that no reasonable prosecutor would file charges against H. Clinton. Nice to have the Attorney General on your side. Seems like he would have been a shoe-in to undertake a faux Biden "investigation".

We may soon be singing the praises of Kamala Harris and hailing her as our new Supreme Leader. I had expected the "deep state" to have gotten tired of Biden within six months of his inauguration. I was proven wrong. It may be happening now. All Hail Harris!!! 🎉🎉🎉

I was sure that Biden wouldn't last 6 months either. Apparently Harris proved to be too much of a liability to just ditch uncle Joe.

I believe it was Turley (?) who wrote a great article about the Trump documents.
I didn't realize until then that it was considered OK for a President to decide what to do with classified documents - a standard that was previously OK'ed by a Washington district court + the National Archives. I believe they even named it "The Clinton Rule". (of course DOJ's Merrick Garland ignored that when raiding Trump).

Yes, Trump may have refused to hand over certain things (that much is greatly in conflict itself, since answering subpoenas and who answered what while including which detail and was that detail satisfying to the asker is a whole subjective thing that they argue about in court), but even if he DID refuse, he was exercising his reasonably interpreted legal rights as per the previous standard.

@Isaac: My comments below are based on skimming articles. I have no inside and/or expert information. As such my comments may be either incomplete and/or even miss points that have been explained. Nevertheless, I find much of the narrative and the FBI raid on Trump's home to be nonsensical Kabuki Theater designed to inflame public outrage.
  • What does it mean to "refuse to hand over information". We have copy machines, so many people can have the same information which makes it essentially impossible to "refuse" to handover information. Are the documents in Trumps possession "originals" or "copies". If originals, why not make copies, retain the copies then give the originals to the Archives. These seem to be unexplored points.
  • Seems that everybody knew what Trump had, more or less. Trump was advised on how to securely store the documents and evidently complied. So why is this even an issue?
  • Trump has been accused of "obstructing justice" by refusing to hand over documents. I find that ludicrous. First, a copy can be made of the document and the original can then be given to the Archives. Problem solved. Second, the Presidential Records Act evidently gives every President the right to retain records for a limited period of time. Given that, how can one accuse Trump of "obstructing justice". Standing up for what you believe is correct, should not qualify as "obstructing justice". Obstructing justice, it seems to me, would require an affirmative action to actually obstruct an investigation. One example, the destruction of documents by H. Clinton when she was under a preservation order to retain those records.

The Democrats are experts at Kabuki Theater. Could that be considered cultural appropriation:ROFLMAO:

Since this is breaking news, celebrations may be a bit premature at this time. Is Biden's reign as the useful idiot coming to an end?
Will we finally perceive who is puling Biden's strings when they take-up the broom?

Gerald Ford was able to rise from Speaker to become President. Maybe, McCarthy like Ford, could rise to become President.
Well, we can dream.

As this story continues to unfold, some idle thoughts:
  • How is it that the National Archive was not aware that these classified documents were missing? That implies a degree of incompetence by the National Archive in controlling documents it is supposed to protect.
  • The FBI/DOJ has evidently collected classified documents at various Biden locations. Where are the video clips of the SWAT teams raiding those locations?
  • The FBI/DOJ when it raided Trump's home neatly laid out he classified documents and took pictures of them for public distribution and display in the media for all to see. This was an attempt to "poison the well" to imply misfeasance by Trump. The FBI did not release similar pictures to the public and/or media.

Why do they keep showing the pictures of Trump's office with documents on the floor that was staged by the FBI? People really think that's where the documents were actually found. They really think a billionaire with servants keeps documents all over the floor of his office when he's not even in residence????

WHY do none of the talking heads even mention this when their guests bring it up? They just let the lie lie there and stink.
