Parameter Query using Date Range

Is there a way to allow the user to enter a date range into a parameter query? Like a start date and and end date?

In the criteria row of the date field you want to do this to put the following:

Between [write anything you want here] and [anything you want]

Inside the brackets, whatever you write will appear on the pop up window so something like [Beginning Date] or [Ending Date] etc will probably be what you use. Hope this helps as it is one of the few things i am sure of with access.

In the criteria enter
Between [enter start date] and [enter end date]

the user will be prompted for the parameters.
I would advise selecting query- parameters from the query menu when in design mode and defining the parameters as dates.

In truth I always used a form to drive my queries with predefined textboxes for the parameters and a command button to run the query.
