I want to create a form that incorporates a number of different tables & tabs. When I switch tabs (which represent the information on the different tables) I need it to be consistent with the main table and all the information that follows it from the different tables.

I've been told the best way to do that is with a parent form but I haven't been able to find an EASY step-by-step instruction on how to do that.

I am open to suggestions/VISUALS on different form structure ideas and also if someone just has a good link to how to do the parent form thing that would be great. Thanks.

I've watched the YouTube about subforms.

I have Tab #1 which has my first point information from table #1
I have Tab #2 which has a subform on the second point of manufacture information from table #2
I have Tab #3 which has a subform of Options from the Options table. I need it to be a drop down to SELECT an option form the pre-existing options in the Options table. The way I have it now, I can type in a NEW product but not select from a drop down of pre-existing.

I have tried making the subform source come from a query. I've made sure the option ID is a combo box. I've tried making the Option DESCRIPTION a combo box.

SO FRUSTRATED!!! Help!!!!
