For the Democrats, the Chauvin trial was not a legal trial, but a political trial that will be used as a springboard to accelerate the false narrative that the US is "systematically racist". Pelosi has called Floyd a martyr for the cause. President Joe Biden Calls Chauvin Guilty Verdict ‘A Step Forward’. According the the article: “It was a murder in full light of day, and it ripped the blinders off for the whole world to see systemic racism,” he said from the White House alongside Vice President Kamala Harris." (emphasis added, Biden here is making a false statement as there was no evidence of systemic racism) AOC has asserted that the guilty verdict was not enough. Candice Owens notes that the Democrats are now moving the goalposts to demand even more so-called "justice" in the name of combating "systemic racism". Democrats may now see the success of this trial to be more emboldened in the use mob violence as a means of intimidation.

Not surprisingly, today (following Chauvin's conviction) Attorney General Merrick Garland to announce probe of Minneapolis police department after Chauvin conviction. This is actually quite troubling as we are now seeing the power-of-the-state being used to brazenly seek supposed White racism even if it does not exist. Democrats have been pushing the false narrative of "systematic racism" and have advocated the appointment of a Black racist, Kristen Clarke, to head the Civil Rights Division. (I do not know if she has been confirmed.) Note that the Biden administration is embedding so-called "Diversity Officers" in federal governmental agencies to insure compliance with the Democratic Party political objectives. When the Obama administration was in power it used the Civil Rights Division to inappropriately coerce (intimidate) local governments to promote a Black agenda. The Biden administration appears to be on-the-road to use the Civil Rights Division once again as a means of intimidating local governments to comply with Democratic Party political objectives. Orwell would be proud that the Democrats have embraced the government presented in his book "1984".

So what has the media learned from all this? Nothing. To them, we are still some racist country. We arrested a White cop for killing an unarmed Black male under crazy circumstances. The White cop went to jail and went to court and now will go to prison. How racist is that?

Will that change anyone's minds in the media about how racist America is? Of course not, because the media has amplified the narrative to the point where there is no turning back. They ignore context because complexity kills the narrative. So this will happen again and again. Out of tens of millions of police stops, you might get eight or 10 ugly, awful events. Even if you try to do better, it can and probably will happen again, and that's all you need to keep this narrative alive.

The 1619 Project promotes racism. This is simply another wedge to be used when making false claims that "systemic racism" exists. I previously wrote how the Biden administration is embedding so-called "Diversity Officers" into federal governmental agencies to insure compliance with the Democratic Party political objectives. The government is using the 1619 Project to indoctrinate children into the validity of "systemic racism". Reference to the 1619 Project may seem out-of-place in regards to the this threads theme concerning the after effects of the Chauvin trial. It is being included as this is one of the avalanche of stories and press statements appearing for public consumption demanding that so-called "systemic racism" be investigated and that actions need to be formulated to address the claimed "systemic racism".

Seems that one of the aftereffects of Chauvin's conviction has been an "explosion" of stories related to "critical race theory"/"systemic racism". There may be no correlation for the appearance of these stories, at his time, and Chauvin's conviction. This may be simply a case of an unstoppable "wheel" already in motion continuing to grind forward and crushing everything before it. Nevertheless, it should be reiterated that Biden/Harris used the Chauvin's conviction to further inflame, unjustly assert that "systemic racism" exists, and to accelerate the crushing "wheel" to claim that the programs discussed in the video clips below are somehow "justified". Claiming that you are combating "systemic racism" by advocating more racism and that US culture is "evil" is wrong.

This just appeared. It is very troubling on a number of levels. Biden in both his inauguration speech and his speech last night spoke pursuing a "war" against so-called White supremacy. Biden, when Chauvin was convicted, lied by claiming that the conviction was proof of "systemic racism". Biden has also nominated a Black racist, Kristen Clarke, to head the US Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division. (I do not know the current status of this nomination). A racist in charge of the Civil Rights Division is an abomination since it eliminates the very concept or civil rights.

But also consider Biden's other actions that reinforce the concept that the Chauvin conviction has become part of a larger attack on US society.The Biden administration has been promoting instituting "diversity training" and "critical race theory" indoctrination throughout society and government. Reading between the lines, it becomes evident that Chauvin is being established as one of the targets for federal government persecution as part of a pogrom to intimidate and/or eliminate any opposition to Democratic Party rule.

As a relevant aside, Feds hit Roger Stone with $2 million tax suit. Stone was pardoned by Trump, but now the Biden administration wants to come up with a new method to "get" Stone. If Chauvin had been found not guilty, the plausibility of the story below would have increased.

Correct, a hate crime should be based on expressed animus and difficult to prove. However, my anecdotal perception, based on the recent Chauvin incident and others, is that any police action where the police officer is White and the other person is Black is automatically declared a hate crime by the popular media and the race boaters.

This perception is being further legitimized by BIden pushing the concept of "systemic racism" and implementation of a "war" on claimed domestic terrorism (White Supremacy") and the proposed nomination of an apparent Black supremist to head the US DOJ Civil Rights Division. Given that, the government will manufacture innovative excuses to designate certain incidents as hate crimes. Evidence not needed.

A federal grand jury in Minnesota has voted to indict the four former Minneapolis police officers involved in the May 25, 2020, arrest of George Floyd, according to indictments unsealed Friday.

This story is actually much bigger than the Chauvin story itself. The federal government through the US Department of Justice, is now inserting itself into local legal processes and manipulating the facts to manufacture a "civil rights" and/or "hate crime" case. To be blunt, this is both a federal takeover of the local judicial process and the politicization of justice to achieve the political objective of "attacking" "systemic racism", even when no evidence exists to support such an action.

The video below is dated April 25, 2021. The significance of the video, is that Biden called for more aggressive action to combat "systemic racism". The current indictment of four former Minneapolis police officers involved in the May 25, 2020, arrest of George Floyd can be assumed to be the outgrowth of Biden's call-to-action. Expect, this to also adversly affect the cases of Kim Potter and Garrett Rolfe.

Derek Chauvin's legal team requests new trial, alleging jury misconduct

Chauvin was convicted of murdering George Floyd last month.

The issue of race was not raised as an issue in Chauvin's trial. The issue was whether Chauvin was guilty of using excessive force, for which he was found guilty. Yet many political leaders, one of them being Biden turned the trial into a racial issue claiming that racism is rampant and kept "alive" with Cauvin being presented as one example. To further amplify the racism angle, "A federal grand jury in Minnesota has voted to indict the four former Minneapolis police officers involved in the May 25, 2020, arrest of George Floyd, ...". It also turns out that one of the jurors participated in a Black Lives Matter event. From the article: "The motion comes as a photo circulating on social media shows juror Brandon Mitchell wearing a Black Lives Matter hat and a shirt with a picture of Martin Luther King Jr. that says, "get your knee off our necks."". Occasionally, it happens that a juror votes to find a defendant guilty, not based on the facts; but based on the concept of "sending a message". Should the jury have been swayed by Biden's inflammatory racist comments and/or Brandon Mitchell advocating a Black Lives Matter agenda before the jury, Chauvin did not receive a fair trial.
