I agree the repetitive fields are not the way to go. I wonder if the original person who worked on it simply imported from excel. I will look at the fields and the controls. I will upload a version as well. Thanks.

Sounds like that is just what they did and never bothered to adjust.

We'll be here waiting! :D

The Can Grow is set to true for all subreports. The main report itself doesn't have a Can Grow as far as I can see. Thanks
Final thing to check before having to see the DB - The section your sub reports are in within the main report will have a can grow property. So double check that as well.

They are all set to yes. That would have been a nice easy solution :)

Hello again,

It took me awhile to get back to this problem but I'm back and the problem is solved. Here is what I did:
- verified that all setgrow property settings were yes
- verified that all autosize property settings were yes
- checked for code and checked for filter settings
- created a new query with only the fields named in the report
- this last one may have been the only thing required: increased the height of the detail section. Even though it seemed big enough and worked for two years, I believe this was the root of the problem.

Thank you very much for taking the time to help me.
