Printing and Archiving Reports (1 Viewer)

I have a report based on a query. I want to be able to print the report when I open the query and fill in certain fields (only printing details where this has been filled in). I would then like this report to be 'filed' or saved in it's own right and then when I open the query again these lines to have disappeared. Is this possible?

Consider your terminolgy.

You want to Print the report when you open the query ?
Maybe you should have a Form Displayed when you click a button - open the query.

Then Save the report ?
Maybe Save the Data entered in the Form to a table with appropriate references.
From this saved data you could Preview and or Print a Report at any time.

Next time you Click the Button, the Form is displayed awaiting input.

A Report Printed will give you a pce of Paper to write on with pencil or ink.
A Report Previewed is displayed and a Form is displayed.
