Query problem calculating sum in a date range (1 Viewer)

Hi
I need a query to calculate the sum of amount for each type and each customer in a specified range of date ( date is saved in yy, mm , dd fields)
I have created query4 in the attached file using the sum function and where condition, however it doesn't calculate the total, instead only shows all of the sales transactions.

Create another query based on Query4 then use the Totals icon and you will have the groups then just change the SumOfAmount to Sum and you have your answer.

So you should see 1 customer with there totals.
