Hi All,
I have a 2000 format Access database that I am trying to remove all users and permissions at least to the point that I can move all the objects to a new database. It is being very uncooperative. Here is the story:
'Randy' is the owner of the database and when I open the db, I use that name to log in (no password). 'Randy' is also the owner of all the tables.
'Randy' has all permissions for the database. For the tables in the database he has all permissions excepting 'Open/Run' which is grayed out.
'Randy' is shown as the current user in the 'User and Group Permission' screen.
I am opening the database with this shortcut:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\MSACCESS.EXE" "D:\SML_DB\smldata_V1-1.mdb" /wrkgrp "D:\SML_DB\sml_sec.mdw"
When I try to copy and paste or import any of the tables it tells me I do not have the necessary permissions. What am I missing?
Thanks All,
Scott
