report between dates

i have a report that runs from a query. within that query i would like to select dates ie. between 1st jan 2010 and 1st june 2010. i have a date picker on a form that i would like to use to select the dates before i lauch the report. can anyone help in regard to this. i have managed to apply the date range but the gouping that i want in the report dissapears but only on one aspect. the individual treatment grouping fails.

This is a bit of a twist on this thread.

I have the same issue, except that I already made the query with the Name, Start and End Date. What I want to do is add a combo box that allows the User to pick another field to add to the query (or just select a field to sort by).

I've tried to write the SQL and edit the FROM clause, but to no avail. I'm out of ideas, so maybe someone can help me with this one. This may be a really simple fix, or it may not be possible. I don't know.

Please help!
