Hi!
I have to generate a quarterly report. There is a form
where the user can type in the start and end dates of the
quarter he/she wants the report for. In my report design,
I have the 'dates' text field's control source
as the dataentry forms'
Start and end dates i.e =[forms]![form name]![nameofcontrol].
The from and to dates show up correctly on the first page
of this multipage quarterly report. But on the following
pages it says #Name? in place of the dates:txtfield.
I have put this field in the page header thinking I will
see the dates on every page of the report. Why then are
the dates visible only on the first page and not on the
following pages?
Can someone help me? Thanks.

why don't u create quarter query based on the source table, then create report for it,
create a form with a lable mapped to the query and command button to display the report. where the user enter the quarter n year exp:"Q3 2003"

move it to the Detail part of the report not the report header part
