I have a budget management report for the 1st Quarter. It has 5 subreports, reflecting annual info, some linked, some not. The rest of the three qtrs of the year reports are identical without this problem.
MY PROBLEM:
When I run the 1st Qtr report it says in the bar right above the start bar that it's formatting, but then it locks up and then I have to restart Access or hit Ctrl-Break. Wait...it gets weirder.
I found out how to prevent (not fix) the problem. I had "Repeat Header" set to YES. Because I need the Header repeated. But doing this locked it up. So I set it to NO and now it opens fine. All 2,3 and 4 quarter reports are set up with the header reapeating w/ no problems.
What am I doing wrong?! Please help.
