I'm working on creating a database that reads name/company information off a smart card/certificate.

Has anyone used the PC/SC API in VBA before, if you have an example on how to do it this would be greatly appreciated!

I did a quick search of the Internet using Google, and found this VB6 if example code here:

I have no experience with the card reader VB code, however from experience with other similar VB6 to VBA code, you can usually copy and paste the VB6 code in to your MS Access module and use it, sometimes you need to make minor modifications. Give it a try and see what happens.
