Hello only switch here. I have a problem very similar to one I had yesterday that was solved by help from this very forum, however the way I got rid of it yesterday is not happening today. I really don't know what the hell is going on but i have faith that it can be fixed.

Right the thing is I have a Invoice Report generated by a parameter query. The parameters being [Enter CustomerID] and the second one being Between[Enter Start Date]and[Enter End Date] yesterday I had a third parameter asking me for the weight and it was because I had changed something in the report and my control source was different. I changed the control source and "VOILA" it worked.

Now when I was looking through my table design yesterday I noticed that I had a field that had a gap in the title so I changed this by adding the _ thjng. Now I use that field in my Invoice report. I went to generate and invoice from that same report as yesterday and now it is asking me for another parameter. This one being the TOTALCOST ?? I have looked at the control source and I have changed it to what the field title is but it is still asking me for TOTALCOST parameter. I obviously can't enter that in there as all TOTAL COSTs for each job is different.
It is not a calculated field either it is just the prices of the jobs we have completed thats why I have the field in the table in first place.

Please does someone have any idea whatso ever why this is happening and what I can do to change it back to the way it was working before I changed the field title yesterday????

I have changed it back and it still is not having none of it???

I could really do with your expertise right about now!!!!

THANX IN ADVANCE> ]

Clare - when Access asks for an unexpected parameter, its usually because there is a reference to an unknown field. This can be the result of changing a field name in all the places you see it on a report / query etc.

The one I always forget is the "sorting and grouping" part of the report. I suggest you click on the report toolbar icon and check to see if the field name in its old format is still there. If it is, delete it and then add it again using the new name.
