Sorting

I am trying to sort Library of Congress call numbers. I have broken them down into individual fields such as
HD - alpha
32 - numeric
B - alpha
32 - numeric [herein lies the problem] this is a number that needs a decimal at the beginning in order for this line to sort properly. ie 3123 should come before 32. Everything I have tried puts 0s before the decimal or 0s after the number....I JUST WANT .#### - without all the 0s.

Try this:

Instead of using the numeric make it an Alpha and don't add the Decimal

This way it will sort the numbers Alphabetically instead of numericly.

Example:

1,9,99,120,5,201,3129,32 will sort as

1,120,201,3129,32,5,9,99
