I have developed an db on my local machine, and part of this automatically sends out emails. As this is local then the senders email is obviously mine.
My boss has mentioned that he would like me to make this DB accessible to a few users. Now I know that I can split my DB to FE and BE but what would happen with the email capability? My understanding is that the tables would be on the server and each user would have the forms / modules etc on their machine.
So if the automatic email would be sent from a different user they would be the sender as it comes from outlook.
Is there anyway that I can ensure that the senders address is always mine?? I use the DoCmd.SendObject to send the mail from my system.
