I wonder if this is one of those Sheets formatting items that will carry over into AppSheet, as appsheet automatically 'does' useful things with any type of formatting/rules it sees in a google sheet

Yeah, it's the same thing.
very glad that google sheets has much more useful tools and much easier than excel.

It took them so long to add tables. Correct me if I'm wrong but I could not find a decent way to have a dynamically resizing range before then which bummed me out.

But when they came out with tables, I made a little spreadsheet where I track my gym 1 rep max weights and calculate the weight I should lift at for 8-12 reps that I could easily check on my phone, since sheets is free to use on mobile while Excel isn't.

Next Sheets feature I want is Google Apps Script to run on mobile devices.

(But that ain't happening, lets be real XD)
