Tag Cloud (1 Viewer)

I've been coding some ASP pages and I am starting to think a tag cloud would work great. Does anyone have any idea how these work? Are tags and clouds even relational?

I would guess they take all the tags for an item, work out a standard deviation between least used and most used, and then assign fonts. Maths isn't my strong point, so can't suggest around that. But I would guess that's how one goes about it.
