This is The "Magic Roundabout" it's in Swindon, a town about 30 miles from where I live. I've only ever crossed it I reckon, five to 10 times, a nerve racking experience every time! It takes its name from a short comedy strip called The Magic Roundabout which usually ran for about five minutes before the main BBC1 6 "O Clock News...

The Magic Roundabout, the television series was supposed to be a children's program, but it was hilarious and had a large adult following. The Magic Roundabout series originally aired in France, with French speaking characters and it was adapted for UK TV and a UK narrative different from the original.

We have a roundabout in Colchester where cars and lorries can go round both the right way and the wrong way.

Can you identify it's location? If I can find it on Google maps I can place a picture of it here!

It's called the Greenstead Roundabout at the eastern end of St Andrews Ave leading to Clacton.

Looks like Swindon's got a bit of competition!

I'm waiting for the "Texan" to chip in and wind Colin up!
