toggle button using both number and letters

I have been trying to get help some help using the Northwind database sample as i want to know how to create a toggle button with an item list. however i want this toggle button if it can to search for numbers.

the Northwind database just uses letters however i wanted to ask if some one knows if i can use toggle buttons for both numbers and letters
