I'm using Access 2003 and trying to make a chart that displays data as 4 columns, 2 lines, and x-axis by month. I actually managed to get all this data into a chart, but the limitation I'm hitting in Access is that I can't just have 2 lines and 4 columns on the chart.
Datasets A & B should be displayed as lines, datasets C, D, E, F should be columns.
If I start with a column chart and then make A & B lines, E & F also become lines. If I rearrange the dataset such that A & B is listed after C,D,E,F, make it a line graph, and then manually change C,D,E,F to columns, then A & B become columns as well. If I switch from the line type to area type for A & B, then I don't have any problems (but I also don't have the graph I need!)
I've come too far to simply fail now! I hope there is a workaround.
