The image attached is a cast master pattern. We make the original and then they can be cast as many times as required for reproduction work. This is what I am referring to with YS numbers. (Just to help you understand the different categories.) So yes, they are not sold individually as castings they are just used to make into jewellery ranges to sell online and in-store. The same process is used to work out the cost of an item though.
For findings, they are just really components that we use, parts for making the jewellery like scrolls/butterflies for the earring posts, and we don't really sell them individually. maybe the odd chain to a customer that asks for one, but not as a standard stock item, we just manage that in store.
I am going to set about building this again based on your advice and I'll get back to you when i've put something together.
