In the description box can it be updated automatically? also in the subform, when i type in the account number i would not like to have a box next to that.. Yes anything is possible...DONT HAND IN what I sent you...if this system is for citibank we're gonna have a lot of disgruntled customers. use what I gave you and modify it to fit your needs.
The description can be updated...you do that..using what I have posted to you..use the SAME code just enter what you want it to be filled with.

In the subform delete that field and delete the corresponding field in the table tblMulAccts.

Thanks, i will take that into account. I have one more question please. Under authorisation details, i have name of authoriser and his power.

Now with the power, there are two types, Singly and Jointly and under each of these there is upto xxx or no limit. so i would like to have an option singly or jointly and on clicking either one, i can enter the amount upto or select no limit.

Err...

Something tells me Im doing all of this and you're STILL going to use it. You need to work this out correctly...I was taking a stab at it...and did not expect it to be what you wanted. However, I was hoping it would help you out by modifying it to fit your needs.

That is what you need to be doing...as for this last part I have no clue what you're talking about. Is this part of the sub form (child records) or main form? Play around and add fields to my example and you should have no problem getting it yourself.

Otherwise this deadline you speak of...is VERY unrealistic...ESPECIALLY for a bank!!!!!!

Banks don't use crap like that...at least the banks in the US. You need a much more robust and secure system.
