Unable to Resize Chart

I can't seem to size any of my charts to 100% of their object's size. I've attached screen shots of a chart in Design View, the chart properties, Chart Design View, and Print Preview. I've tried all of the Size Mode options. What am I missing?

Double click on the chart object. It will bring up a new design view for the chart itself.

Yes, you can see that view in my attachment Chart Design View. The chart is the full width of the object in that view but is just over half that size in print preview.

I think you need to resize the object from in which the graph is showed.
Open the report in design view, mark (not double click) the frame around the graph and resize it.
Else post a stripped version of your database, with some sample data in it, zip it.

I note that you wrote this thread some time ago, but did the responses lead to a solution?

I seem to have the same problem, see images, and like you, I cannot re-size the graph image to fit the whole of the chart box.

The 2 images attached show what happens when I drag the chart box sides- the graph itself is re-sized leaving all the excess white space.

Open the form in design view, double click in the frame for the graph object, then the pane/window for designing the graph opens.

JHB: Appreciate your comments and did as suggested. After double clicking and working in chart pane, indeed I can resize the image, but after saving, then going back on the form, the image reverts to original size ie it is not saved.

There must be some other setting I need to do.

Working with access 2013.

It is not what I wrote in post #4.
Open the form in design view, mark the object frame and resize it.
If you still can't get it write back, then I'll make a description with pictures.
