Urgent:hyperlink to text

Good afterNoon!

I had to switch my field type from hyperlink to text (long story)

when I switched it my email addresses changed from regular to:

blahblahblah@aol.com#mailto:blahblahblah@AOL.COM#

i have 18000 records...i need to find and delete everything between the #'s.



Help is so much appreciated.

Untested, and I suggest you back up your table before you try this.

UPDATE MyTable SET email = Mid(email,1,Instr(email,"#") -1)
