The WAR File act as the communication centre , and so all the workstation to communicate with the Virtual Server they have to go through this resources which is stored on the server.

Strange thing

The MS Access DB application stored on the server shared and workstations using WIFi works well as long we continue to be on WIFi they are able to use the WAR file on the server ,but wisdom tells us that you gain high speed by using a wired Local area network to connect all the four compuers. But the moment we are on the switch or wired LAN packet we can still access the server with the gain in speed but the WAR file cannot be accessed anymore. Any idea to go about this?

If you can see this WAR file, right-click it and look at its Properties >> Security. Diddle around in the complex control box to look for Effective Permissions. Do this once for LAN and once for Wi-Fi and compare the results. IF they are different, then there is a network restriction on the LAN that doesn't apply to the Wi-Fi. If both have the exact same effective permissions then that wasn't the problem.

I doubt it.
Usually a WAR file is a Web application ARchive. This is run as a web application on a server. Other applications connect to the server running the web application with HTTP(S).
Check to which IP address the web application listens, check which addresses are used on your network for WiFi and for LAN. Are they the same or are they different? Are there any firewall rules active on either network? Can you connect to the web application with other client applications, e.g. a web browser?

This appears to be not a Microsoft Access question all. Ut rather is about network communications. You should ask this question on a more appropriate board.
