Could someone explain how a cmg, pdb and cg interact in an excel vba?

From our earlier discussion, the 3 properties are all connected to the VBA password in Excel files. Their actual values depend on code to which we don't have access via VBA. In fact, normally users will not even see those values.
However, the values must all 'match' for the password implementation to work.

I very much doubt anyone outside of the Excel/VBA team will be able to explain how those values are derived and its highly unlikely they would be willing to explain the mechanism as it would reduce what security these 'properties' do provide

I think.
I just think that the three are interconnected in the protection there in projectbin.
Maybe one is a result of the others.
But anyway...
