Bret says it, spot on!

You know what "They" are doing don't you?

The democrats know that they are going to lose. What do governments do when they know they are loosing?

I removed my answer because it sounded ludicrous .....

NOT fact checked...

I understand drones are banned from the area...

Private helicopters and planes are not allowed to carry out rescue missions ..

That trucking companies, offering supplies are being hampered...

Home owner's are being threatened with arrest for protecting their homes ...

It appears that the authorities want to escalate the situation. .. ask yourself why?.

Sorry Tony, my Give-a-Damn is broke, busted, beyond repair.

AMERICA ---- your GOVERNMENT is ACTIVELY working AGAINST your CITIZENS !!!!

What is their goal?

Probably just a coincidence

In 2019, the Trump administration, in the middle of hurricane season, told Congress that it was taking $271 million from DHS programs, including $155 million from the disaster fund, to pay for immigration detention space and temporary hearing locations for asylum seekers who have been forced to wait in Mexico

Are Biden/Harris out to get Musk?
"But Musk said the engineer claimed that FEMA is "actively blocking shipments and seizing goods and services locally and locking them away to state they are their own. It’s very real and scary how much they have taken control to stop people helping. We are blocked now on the shipments of new starlinks coming in until we get an escort from the fire dept. but that may not be enough."
How valid the claim that FEMA is blocking the deployment of starlink is unknown. Haven't heard enough. However, Musk (like Trump and now Mayor Adams) has become a target of the Biden/Harris administration. So, based on Biden/Harris' Stalinist lawfare, it is conceivable that Musk's claims may be valid.

Fact without substance, a meaningless statement. Did the reallocation of funding in 2019 result in an inability for FEMA to provide disaster assistance?

With Hurricane Helene it seems FEMA spent money without restraint to assist illegal immigrants to the point that essentially none was left to provide actual disaster relief. Mayorkas warns FEMA doesn't have enough funding to last through hurricane season. That is mismanagement.

Mayorkas' claim that FEMA is 'tremendously prepared' comes back to haunt him amid Helene aftermath

I agree John, .... I am not going to allow myself to get emotionally involved in this ...... (Highly emotional rant deleted)

..... "to repurpose these funds after Congress did not pass more funding for ICE detention beds as part of an emergency funding bill for the southwest border in June."

So he's the devil when he makes them wait in Mexico, and he's the devil when he doesn't?

Nevermind the stories from the people on the ground

It's typical double speak from the leftocrats, go to the website, apply for the aid....

Completely ignoring the infrastructure damage, the loss of phone lines, electric, making the instruction comical in an inappropriate way ...

My least favorite is when I have trouble with the Internet at the house (doesn't happen too often thankfully).
The phone menu for the internet company leads me to a subcategory of WI-FI TROUBLESHOOTING, then while I am on hold waiting to talk to a human being, the IVR robot tries very hard to convince me to go online and solve my problem using their automated tools.
WELL IF I COULD GO ONLINE I WOULDN'T HAVE CALLED YOU RIGHT !?

I was speaking with a friend who lives in Sarasota a few days ago. She lives East of I4 so isn't subject to tidal surges but she did loose a window during the last storm. It is currently boarded up. She's not looking forward to tomorrow because they are predicting it will be worse.

My brother lives in a little podunk town in North Carolina's hill country. His area had some flooding but not on his side of town so except for the power outages, he also is OK.

The questions keep coming up:
1. Is FEMA deliberately slowing down operations?
2. Is FEMA actively interfering with other help?
3. The draining of funds for use to benefit illegal aliens has been confirmed by the director. Also, he says they also have left over money from Sandy that they won't release.

Why would FEMA withhold/slowdown help to NC, Georgia, and Florida? Easy if they are trying to interfere with the upcoming election.
