I have been trying to get the Monaco SQL Editor option to show up in the Current Database options for my Access (Office 365) application (DB). I have made sure that the DB sits in a "Trusted Location" and I have even signed the VBA code with a self cert using the SELFCERT.EXE tool that comes with Office. I have closed and opened (several times), I ran the latest update but still the option does not show up. What am I missing?

Which Update Channel are you on?
I'm not sure whether Monaco arrived in the semi-annual channels yet.

If you select File - Account - About Access you will be able to see which Channel you are using

It should be like the attached.

If Monaco is available to you, tick the checkbox shown below

By default, it is then checked for all new ACCDB files.
EDIT: It is, perhaps surprisingly, even available for MDB files opened in a suitable version of A365

Thanks for the reply sonic8. So looking into your suggestion, i found that we are on the Monthly Enterprise update channel. But, it looks like, for Access, we may also be on the LTSC (Long Term Support Channel) which could mean that I won't see this update for a couple of years, potentially. I am doing a little more digging with our deployment team but this could turn out very disappointing.

Again, thanks for the quick reply!!

If you are on 365 then you won't be on LTSC as that is only for retail versions such as 2024. None of the retail versions have Monaco.

Yeah . . . I literally just found that out from our Deployment Team. It was showing up on the splash screen when you fire Access up. Must just be a little bleed through that someone didn't catch. I also found out that Monaco is not available yet in the Monthly Enterprise Update Channel. They moved me to the Current Update Channel and I now have it.

Really appreciate you replying. Have a great weekend!!
