Access 2007 navigation pane erratic problem

Hi everyone....I have a problem with Access 2007 where when scrolling in the navigation pane, the pane jumps up and down and flickers up and down for one or two seconds and usually ends up off the screen from the object I am trying to select. I have applied a suggested fix from Microsoft....kb973405, which describes this problem, but no effect whatsoever. It was ok with XP and has only happened since installing Windows 7.
Any ideas please ?

Have you tried reinstalling Office 2007 since you installed Windows 7?

Thanks but this is actually on a new computer.....I installed Windows 7 first and then Office 2007 so I doubt if a re-installation would do anything.
Was all ok with XP on my old machine.
