Calculate totals on a report? (1 Viewer)

I have a report that counts the number of telephone calls per month and groups them depending on the type of call ie claims call or customer service call.

I also want it to add them together and show a total at the bottom?

=Count(*) as the control source of a textbox in the Report footer

Is this right syntac...

=Count([controlindetailsectioniwanttocount])

=Count(*) as posted will return the the total number of records on the report. Assuming there are Null fields on the report then =Count[YourField]) should work. You'll have to post back with more details of the data type etc if this doesn't work
