Changing ComboBox Drop down

I copied, still the same.
Try creating a new form and just add that combo. I can only think of form corruption TBH.

I tried a new form and the same thing happened, it's got me stumped

I tried that but I still seemed to get the black text

choose a "Lighter" back color.

I would but it is the design colours for all forms in this Database, it was not my first choice if I had the option. That being said this is the only form that this has happened to, I think

I chose a pile of other colours and it did not make a difference.

You wont believe this, I moved the combo box a few centimeters to put another combo box to try something out and the old combo box works as expected. I'm completely lost why that would happen.

I even deleted it and put a new one back.? The chances of getting it in the same place must be quite high, but it still did not work?
