I came across this pdf today and thought I would share it. There may be a newer version if you go to the COS official website.

The group has been working diligently to get the states to agree to call a convention to propose some much needed amendments. The left is working more successfully to convince the states to NOT call a convention.

Up to now, all amendments have been initiated via Congress and enacted via the normal means of a vote of the states. The only difference here is that the states themselves calling a convention is the second method outlined in Article V of the Constitution. So, there is technically no more risk than if Congress proposes the amendments. The enactment method is still the same. The states all vote in their legislatures to accept or reject each amendment separately.

Go to the website and find out if your state has signed on yet. If not, call your state rep and senator and urge them to do so. Or join the group and lobby officially.

My husband is part of this and when he went to a county fair to work their booth, I went with him to photograph the event. Good organization.

I worked with them for a couple of years but it was very frustrating lobbying stupid people who only believed the lies promulgated by the left about an "out of control convention" that could do away with the entire Constitution. So instead of being a rational discussion, it always devolved to politics and since CT is pretty blue, I was mostly lobbying Democrats. The discussion should have been about an out of control Congress which is pretty much non-denominational;) I use that term rather than the normal one since politics has become religion.
