Hi,

we have a access 2003 database, and want to convert it to adp - with a SQL 2008 back end.

Is there any issues with this?

any guides to do this?

does access 2003 have a wizard to assist with this?

Kind regards

I don't use adp's myself, but the upsizing wizard should do that for you.

But doesn't the upswing create pass through tables(the one with the globe icon) only?

Well, it creates tables on SQL Server and links to them, yes. Isn't that the point? I believe it also tries to convert queries to stored procedures or views. Why don't you make a copy of your database and try it? Worst thing that happens is you delete the database you ran the wizard on and whatever it created on SQL Server. Then you're not speculating on what the wizard may or may not do.
