Embedded Macro

I have a form with several command buttons. I would like to click a button automatically if: If [notes] Like "*Apple*" Then Call Command646_Click

If seems to work fine on a command button that is vba but it does not work if the command button is an embedded macro.

I get the this error: Compile error: Sub or Function not defined.

Call an embedded macro from VBA in access

I have a macro assigned to the onClick event of a button in a form. How can I call this macro programmatically? I tried btnName_Click But this does not work since there is no function called

One more reason to eschew macros and employ VBA.

There's a button on the ribbon that lets you convert all macros to VBA.
