Error Message Cannot execute command

I got the error message cannot execute command after we upgraded from Access 97 to Access 2000. There are multiple users connected to one database on Windows 2000. Some people are able to get access, but there is a good chunk of people that get the error message " Cannot execute Command".

What's going on and is there a solution?

What is the difference between the people who can and who can't access the database? (software, hardware, location, etc)

Could be something as simple as references. But going from 97 to 2000 is quite a big jump and i would expect problems.
