Hello.

I have a Spanish database in Access 95 and I try to convert it to newer version.
Unfortunately, I have a problem with special (national) characters. I never use Polish characters in the naming of table fields, but this designer used the Spanish character 'No' and now there is a problem with it...
The attached pictures show me trying to export a query to another database and getting an error.
Does anyone of you have an idea how to solve this problem?

Regards.

Can you use an alias name that would not have this character?

June7,
I found the solution. Well, in Windows 95 Spanish and Access 95 Spanish everything works fine. So I will have to operate with this configuration. Only I don't know any Spanish, haha.

Thanks.

Why not change the bad names to remove the characters that are causing the problem?
