How do I change link between report and subreport (1 Viewer)

I have a report with a subreport for the detail. It's been working for
quire a while, using a SQL statement as the record source. I changed the
record source to a query using the same SQL and nothing appeared. I tried a
plain table. It's been a long time since I've done any reports and I can't
figure out how to get to the link attributes, master and <child?>. All the
HELP I find on the web tells you how to create a subreport using the wizard.
Nowhere can I find out how to edit the subreport control. I can get at its
properties intermittently while on the main window... something I do
highlights the whole sub report area.. But I can't find the "link" stuff.

I'm running 2007. The HELP is awful.... just Bing...

Can someone help?

If you click elsewhere in the report and then once on the subreport, going into Properties should take you to the properties of the subreport control.

When I do that I do get properties for the subreport, but not, I think, for the control on the main window. The data tab shows me record source, filter, filter On Load, Order bgy, Order by on Load, and allow filters. The "other" tab shows me Pop up, Modal, etc., etc. down to tag. But nothing for "link".

It sounds like you clicked twice in the subreport, not once. When I click elsewhere and then once, I get the properties of the control.

Aha!!! Thanks SO MUCH! This has been making me crazy. And I bet this single/double click thing explains the randomness with which I get control info or chart info in the analagous situation.
