How to Add a dialog box to a report to pick a certain department number (1 Viewer)

I have created a report that lists information on all the people in the company.
I want to add a box that prompts the user to key in a certain department code and only report for that department.

How do you do this? I see another report in the system that does this but for the life of me, I do not see anything while in the design view that shows me what they are doing.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Perhaps the criteria is within the query that the report is based upon.

Thanks Rich & Chuck for the reply. Rich, you were correct, it was in a query. I am new at Access and thought the report was coming directly from a query. Now I know how to do this for other reports I need to create. It seems easy once you know how but finding where things are happening can be tough at times. Thanks again to both of you for your help.
