1. As already stated, the purpose of forums are so that a variety of members can offer suggestions and solutions. None of us know everything, nor do any of us always get it right.
FWIW, I think the solution proposed by moke was far better. Having said that, the important point is that Bambi has a choice of possible approaches and can/should make that choice for herself
2. You should not be speaking on behalf of other forum members. Whether or not you are correct in this case, Bambi is I'm sure perfectly capable of stating her own opinions and should be allowed to do so herself.
3. You should not be sharing (or even alluding to) the contents of PMs in a public forum
4. Also FYI, the site traffic at AWF is far greater than any other specialist Access forum and is almost double that of the next biggest (Utter Access). See https://www.similarweb.com/
Whilst far less than some Excel forums or more general forums like Stackoverflow, that reflects the comparative size of the user base for Access
AWF has been fairly consistent both in terms of audience and 'market share' for many years. AWF is certainly not perfect but its obviously doing a lot that's seen to be successful. Otherwise its site traffic would be in long term decline which isn't the case
