importing issues and question

I created an old database and have been updating it with the same named tables and and forms etc. I want to import the tables that have the same name into the new database. The issue is that it is creating a new table rather than putting the data into the existing table in the new database. What am I doing wrong?

If the existing tables have data, perhaps you will need to run an append query to copy the data from one table to another.
