Hi,

Anyone of you have idea how I can make my texts bold or colorful or place smilies while displaying the msgbox ?

I don't know if there is a way to do this. But if there is, it would make a diferent look.

With kind regards,

Ashfaque

aha!

I found some code on a guys site.

http://www.datastrat.com/DataStrat2.html

Its the third selection on the left.

I suppose just credit that Arvin Meyer guy to make everything kosher.

There, that's my first helping finished methinks.
I'm a relative newbie too!

Thanks LuvSpudz,

I will look into.

I tried in Access 2003 and it worked to get BOLD massage thru macro. After playing with it finally I entered following line into massage of a macro.

THIS IS JUST A TESTING@ @

How about the colors ? Any idea ?

Regards,
Ashfaque :)

Okay I've had a look around and there doesn't seem to be any way to change the color.

Again you could create a form yourself to act as a MsgBox, then you can do what you like with it.

I know, it seems strange that you can't alter MsgBox colors, but that's the way it is seemingly!

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Just keep in mind that if anyone uses this in access 2000/2002 then your bold text won't show.
Just in case you're demonstrating it to someone, be wary of that.
