Is this mentality prevails only in India?

It happens in the USA sometimes. Particularly in factories involving lots of hand labor. Less so in an office environment but still not unknown.

When I was 15, and working my first nearly fulltime job in the summer of 1995-ish, my boss at the fast food restaurant where I cut my teeth on the real world always told me "If you have time to lean, you have time to clean"

The funny thing is: I worked for a week before quitting citing health issues. They haven't paid me for that week. And they are Doctors! How cheap!
