Link to Microsoft Access Query as External Data Source

Is it possible to link to a Microsoft Access Query as an external data source? I know how to link to a table from another database, but not a query.

Any ideas?

Why do you need to. Any Query must get its data from Tables at the end so you can have the query locally getting its data from linked tables. The query does not take up much space - its the data that takes up space.

The query in question is actually a result from 4 other semi-complex queries and we would rather not have to recreate each of the queries in the 2nd database. Currently, the setup we have is thus: A maketable query in the 1st database creates a table with the current information in the 2nd database.

I'm just looking to cut out this extra step and link directly to the query in the 1st database if possible.
